How to choose your basketball shoes?
To correctly choose your BASKET shoes, you must:
1- Determine your level and frequency of play.
2- Identify your main expectations related to your style of play: reactivity and speed of movement or strong shock absorption for powerful support.
3- Correctly choose the height of the upper: ankle covered or not?
Which size to choose?
We recommend that you try on the shoe before your first training session, and take your usual size for basketball.
Don't hesitate to go up a size if you feel you're just right.
There should be around 1 cm between your toe and the tip of the shoe, as the volume and length of your foot will tend to increase during exercise.
Finally, opt for a sock designed for basketball, to limit friction in the areas that are most stressed.
Why is the lightness of this shoe an asset?
The weight of the shoes is mobilized with every step and every jump. Carrying 500 grams on your feet has more impact than carrying 500 grams on your back.
The lightness of the Fast 500 means that it is forgotten during practice, whatever your size, weight or level.
Choosing a very light pair of shoes will be even more important for the lightest players, as well as for growing teenagers.
What type of terrain is this shoe designed for?
All of them! Our footwear is tested and validated on a wide range of indoor surfaces, as well as on a wide range of outdoor surfaces.
We test not only adherence to different levels of dust (in the laboratory and in real-life conditions), but also resistance over time, particularly to ground abrasion.
