A sole that gives you grip and energy?
In boxing, you stand on your toes. That's why we've designed a flexible shoe with a very thin sole - to reproduce the best sensations and support - and a rubber sole, for extra grip and wear resistance.
And for cushioning, we've added an EVA pad under the heel.
The result is a flexible, grippy sole that helps you transfer energy to all your supports and pivots... from tiptoe to glove!
Introducing a lightweight, flexible shoe
To help you stay on your toes and on the move all round, we've designed the 500 boxing shoe like a bootie!
With its all-mesh medium upper, your shoe is airy, flexible and above all light: it weighs just 200 grams.
And because we haven't forgotten about resistance, the 3D mesh is meshed on the outside of the shoe.
And that's how your shoe reacts lightly to all your changes of support!
And what about design? We explain
In addition to flexibility and lightness, we've also thought about support:
The rubber heel counter provides extra support for your ankle. The bonded TPU around the contour of the foot and on the edge of the tongue increases the shoe's resistance without adding seams!
Finally, the thin, resistant laces to open your shoe wide, and the buckle on the heel make it easy to put on your 500 boxing shoe!
We are pleased to present...
... our first boxing shoe! And to get things off to a good start, we wanted to offer you lots of flexibility and grip.
So our 6-strong design team went through studies, designs, prototypes and above all lots of field tests to listen to your feedback and offer you even more flexibility, grip and support.
So we're proud to present you with a shoe that really goes with you in all your movements!
So why a shoe that helps you work on your stance?
Julien, our product manager at Outshock , talks about support in boxing:
"Support is the most important thing in boxing, because it's where everything starts. The aim is to be on your toes, with your legs bent to allow energy to be transferred forward. The blow starts from the foot, then the leg, the hip and the chest to reach the arm. That's why we wanted a lightweight shoe that allowed us to move well, with plenty of grip for pivoting and transferring energy."
