Which size/shape to choose?
Above all, as with any sports shoe, your field hockey shoes must fit your feet. First, avoid pressure points. Secondly, your foot must not be able to move inside the shoe. This is particularly important when the playing surface is synthetic turf. Depending on the manufacturer, some models are specifically designed for women. They are designed for a smaller stature and a less voluminous foot morphology.

Some women have a small shoe size and therefore tend to opt for junior shoes, which are not adapted to adult stature. How do you know if the shoe you're trying on fits properly?
