Why do I need to wear padel-specific shoes?

Padel is played on synthetic carpet with sand. This makes moving around slippery. Padel shoes feature a sole with a specific geometry to give you the grip you need for players of all levels. They also provide lateral stability, foot support and shock-absorbing cushioning.

Sole pattern: Herringbone sole

This sole has also been called herringbone, wave or clay sole. You can recognize it by its wave-like pattern. This is the sole most commonly used in padel, thanks to its good grip. It also offers greater resistance and is ideal for competitions on synthetic carpet.

Midsole: EVA

This shoe features a harmonious combination of hard-wearing comfort and support thanks to its EVA foam, incorporated into the midsole to offer a more dynamic response.

Mesh upper: stay dry all game long!

The Kuikma PS COMFORT features a mesh upper with excellent breathability and great flexibility for optimum comfort that will keep your feet cool.

TESTS

Our design center is based in Spain, with design and engineering skills. Its role is to identify user needs and pass them on to our design center in France.
Prototypes are tested on the padel courts with users corresponding to their needs. Their resistance is then tested in our design center's laboratory.
This enables us to validate our products with a commitment to quality.
