TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Why do I need to wear padel-specific shoes?

Padel is played on synthetic turf with sand. This makes it extremely slippery to move. Padel shoes feature a sole with a specific geometry to give you the grip you need for players of all levels. They also provide lateral stability, foot support and shock-absorbing cushioning.

Injected EVA technology

This shoe offers a harmonious combination of comfort and support, thanks to the injection of EVA foam into the midsole for a more dynamic response.

Pivot point

Padel is a sport that requires a constant change of direction, which is why Kuikma has chosen to incorporate a pivot point in its shoes that facilitates foot rotation. This is a circular element in the forefoot.

Mesh upper: keep your feet dry throughout the game

These shoes feature a mesh upper that helps optimize air evacuation for a uniquely comfortable feel.

Sole pattern: Herringbone sole

You can recognize it by its wave-like pattern. It's the most widely used sole in regular padel, thanks to its good grip and ability to make long glides at the end of the court. It also offers greater resistance over time and is ideal for competitions on synthetic turf or sand.

TESTS

Our design center is based in Spain, with design and engineering skills. Its role is to identify user needs and pass them on to our design center in France.
Prototypes are tested on padel courts with users corresponding to their needs. Their resistance is then tested in our design center's laboratory.
This enables us to validate our products with a commitment to quality.
