The Advance 500, a design story
"The story of the Advance 500 shoe began three years ago. With the desire to offer expert rugby players a good, comfortable, resistant shoe that meets the requirements of their level of practice. Our design team teamed up with ambassadors, Decathlon employees with a passion for rugby, to come up with this shoe. After more than a dozen prototypes, we are delighted to offer you this versatile shoe, designed for 3rd row and center.
A shoe designed with professionals in mind
While we imagined this shoe with passionate collaborators, we also worked hand in hand with professional players, evolving in the Top 14. Players with high expectations. As a result, the Advance 500 has successfully passed the wear tests carried out by expert players, from the regional to the highest national level!
Our team is proud to present...
We're proud to offer you this shoe, which has convinced professional players such as Jonathan Wisniewski, Lyon's fly-half (Top 14) and Julien Ledevedec, second row at Montpellier (Top 14). "These players have tested and validated the Advance 500. At this point, we feel we're not far from having succeeded in our gamble," enthuses William, Product Manager at Offload.
... A shoe that stands out for its versatility
The versatility of this shoe is apparent at first glance. The soft, supple front part expresses agility and speed. A footed part, simply reinforced in sensitive areas of the foot. The rear part, on the other hand, expresses resistance. It has been reinforced to give you a feeling of protection and support. For confident rucking! Its heel protection and rigid sole reinforce the feeling of support.
Stud type
Depending on the level of grip and the condition of the terrain, you can adapt the OFFLOAD 11-13-15-18-21mm aluminum screw-in studs sold at Decathlon.
The 13mm rubber screw-in studs part no. 8035462 are not compatible with this model of shoe.
Size
Plan on a minimum of one extra size to allow room for the thick sock and the fact that the foot swells during the match.
