The Score 900, a design story
The story of the Score 900 shoe began three years ago. With the desire to offer a good shoe, comfortable, resistant and light, which meets the requirements of their level of practice. Our design team teamed up with ambassadors, Decathlon employees with a passion for rugby, to come up with this shoe. After more than a dozen prototypes, we are delighted to offer you this lightweight shoe, designed for the scrum-half.
Your comfort is our priority
To design this shoe, we focused on one key area: your comfort. "Using a scanner, we measured the feet of over 700 rugby players, children and adults, from the Lille area. We realized that rugby players' feet are on average one size larger than the average European foot," explains Raphaël, product engineer at Offload. We took this scientific research as a starting point to design a shoe last that guarantees optimum comfort.

We're proud to offer you this shoe, which has convinced professional players such as Jean-Marc Doussain, Lyon's fly-half (Top 14) and Marc-Antoine Rallier, Castres' hooker (Top 14). "These players tested and validated the Score 900. After all this positive feedback, we feel we're not far from having succeeded in our gamble," enthuses William, Product Manager at Offload.
A shoe that combines lightness and strength
"Make a shoe that's as light as possible, but still strong. This was the challenge set by Raphaël, our product engineer. The result is a streamlined, footed shoe, designed in a single piece to guarantee that sensation of lightness. Resistance is provided by small inserts on each side and a rigid sole, allowing you to take to the field with confidence.
Touch of the ball
Made from a fine material, Score 900 gives you a second-skin effect. As a result, you feel the ball more when you touch it. The feel of the ball is enhanced by the honeycomb material on the forefoot, which gives you a feeling of grip on the ball when you strike it.
We recommend that you go up a size as the shoe is designed for thin feet.
Versatility - compatibility
Depending on the level of grip and the condition of the terrain, you can adapt the OFFLOAD 11-13-15-18mm aluminum screw-in studs sold at Decathlon.
The 13mm rubber screw-in studs part no. 8035462 are not compatible with this model of shoe.
