"Impact 900, a design story
"The story of the Impact 900 shoe began three years ago. With the desire to offer expert rugby players a good, comfortable, resistant shoe that meets the requirements of their level of practice. Our design team teamed up with ambassadors, Decathlon employees with a passion for rugby, to imagine this shoe. After three years' work and more than a dozen prototypes, we are delighted to offer this shoe for rugby players.
Your comfort is our priority
"To design this shoe, we worked around a strong axis: your comfort. "Using a scanner, we measured the feet of over 700 rugby players, children and adults, from the Lille area. We realized that rugby players' feet are on average one size larger than the average European foot," explains Raphaël, product engineer at Offload. We used this scientific research to design a shoe last that guarantees optimum comfort.

As a result, the Impact 900 has successfully passed usage tests carried out by expert players, evolving from the regional level to the highest national level!

... This shoe is designed for scrimmage players
With its chubby, robust and hard-wearing front, this shoe protects your forefoot. On the sides, an additional yoke offers a shield effect, always with the aim of guaranteeing you the best protection. And for extra support, we've fitted it with a sock. When scrumming, don't be afraid to take off your shoes thanks to the reinforced heel! The rigid sole will help you keep your footing when pushing.
Screw-in stud compatibility
Depending on the level of grip and the condition of the ground, you can adapt the screw-in studs OFFLOAD aluminium 11-13-15-18-21mm sold at Decathlon.
The screw-in studs rubber 13mm part number 8035462 are not compatible with this model of shoe and can be used for dry ground.
