In 2022, Yoann Kowal, one of the first athletes in the KIPRUN team, wanted to run his first Marathon in London. In just a few months, the design team, with Yoann's guidance and the benefit of his 15 years at the highest level, achieved a technical feat combining dynamism, cushioning and lightness. The result is a shoe capable of breaking records.

Our athletes set new records with the KD900X LD, demonstrating its full potential. Our athlete Bravin Kiptoo ran the 11th fastest 10 km in Madrid in 27m02s, the same time as legend Haile Gebrsellasie. Or Méline Rollin, our French athlete finished 18th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Riga in 2023 in 1h10m35s.
LIGHTNESS FOR PERFORMANCE
Research and development studies have shown that a lighter product improves racing performance through better energy conservation. In designing the KIPRUN KD900X LD, we made no compromises on comfort. We chose lighter components and worked on an optimized sole design. The result: the KIPRUN KD900X LD weighs 206 g in size 42, 10% lighter than its predecessor, the KD900X.
