what is drop?
The drop on a shoe is the difference in sole height between the forefoot and the heel. A reduced drop preserves the natural movement of the foot when running, and minimizes so-called "biomechanical" stresses. These can be the source of injury. On these KIPRUN FAST shoes, the drop has been reduced by 6 mm with the aim of respecting the natural stride of the smallest runners!
How about a look under the sole?
To facilitate the rolling of the foot during practice, bending notches have been integrated into the sole. As for the rubber glide, this guarantees the product's resistance over time, and will prevent your young athletes from slipping on a floor that's a little too wet!
Did you know? Adult and children's shoes, different sizes
Junior athletic shoes are specially designed for children's feet. For the same size, children's feet are thinner and they have less total volume in the shoe than adults. Give your growing athletes room to grow, so they don't feel constrained when practicing. As an adult, if you choose a children's shoe, this will restrict the movement of your feet and inevitably have an impact on your body!
