THE IMPORTANCE OF CUSHIONING
To run with maximum comfort and performance, we have paid particular attention to the sole thanks to 2 concepts: - K-Ring: ring located at the heel to improve the rear cushioning and allow the dispersion of the shock wave in order to protect the body (joints, back, knees, etc.) effectively. - Kalensole: allows a 34% improvement in cushioning, +25% energy return and a resistance of 1000km compared to a traditional foam.
DID YOU SAY STABLE?
A stable shoe makes it easier to roll the foot and limit the efforts of foot and ankle control in order to have a relaxed support. So we increased the support surface of the foot and integrated the ARKSTAB, a TPU resin part in the midfoot.
KS500 COMFORT
To run long and regularly, foot comfort is an essential element. We therefore sought to improve this comfort thanks to: - a new collar at the back of the liner ensuring excellent support of the heel in the shoe and an ideal softness. - a preformed sole made of honeycombed PU (polyurethane) foam. - a reworked front area of the foot so as not to feel any discomfort. - a one-piece, seamless fabric to limit the risk of chafing.
EXCELLENT ROADHOLDING ON WET ROADS AND WHEN CORNERING
Our sole has been designed like a car tyre to run efficiently without losing control even when it rains. The geometry of the sole combined with a new rubber ensures that the KIPRUN KS500 excellent grip on wet surfaces, even at top speeds.
WHAT NEW FEATURES ON THE KIPRUN KS500?
Thanks to your opinions over the past 2 years, we have completely developed the sole of the KS500 to improve comfort and make the foot roll even more fluid.
We also worked on the breathability of the KS500 upper thanks to a more breathable tongue. The semi-bootie construction also gives you comfort and support of the foot in the shoe.
