WHY CHOOSE A LIGHTWEIGHT SHOE?
Research and development studies have shown that a lighter product improves running performance through better energy conservation.
The KS LIGHT was designed without compromising on comfort and resistance, but with lighter components and an optimized sole design.
Result: The KIPRUN KS LIGHT shoe is 12% lighter than the KIPRUN LONG.

THE IMPORTANCE OF CUSHIONING
To ensure maximum comfort and performance when running, we have paid particular attention to the sole with 2 concepts:
- K-Ring: a ring located at heel level to improve rear cushioning and disperse shockwaves to protect the body (joints, back, knees, etc.) effectively.
- Kalensole: 34% improvement in cushioning, +25% energy return and 1000km resistance compared to traditional foam.
DID YOU SAY STABLE?
A stable shoe makes it easier to roll the foot off the ground and limits the effort required to control the foot and ankle for a relaxed support.
We have therefore increased the foot's support surface and added a reinforcement at the back of the heel.
THE COMFORT OF KS LIGHT
For long, regular runs, foot comfort is of paramount importance.
We have therefore sought to improve this comfort with:
- a new collar at the back of the shoe, ensuring excellent heel retention in the shoe and ideal softness.
- a preformed sole made from honeycomb PU (polyurethane) foam. a preformed sole made from PU (polyurethane) honeycomb foam.
- a reworked forefoot area to ensure no discomfort.
- a one-piece, seamless fabric to limit the risk of rubbing.
EXCELLENT ROADHOLDING ON WET ROADS AND WHEN CORNERING
Our sole has been designed like a car tire for efficient running without loss of control, even when it's raining.
The new sole geometry combined with a new rubber compound gives KIPRUN KS LIGHT excellent grip on wet surfaces, even at top speed.
SUITABLE FOR ALL TYPES OF CROWDS
Thanks to its exclusive K-ONLY concept, a denser foam located under the first metatarsal, you no longer need to know your stride type (pronator, supinator, neutral)!
A 6-month study conducted in conjunction with the Luxembourg Institute of Health* demonstrated that the K-Only concept is suitable for all stride types.
