THE IMPORTANCE OF CUSHIONING
To run with maximum comfort and performance, we have paid particular attention to the sole thanks to 2 concepts: - K-Ring: ring located at the heel to improve the rear cushioning and allow the dispersion of the shock wave in order to protect the body (joints, back, knees, etc.) effectively. - Kalensole: allows a 34% improvement in cushioning, +25% energy return and a resistance of 1000km compared to a traditional foam.
DID YOU SAY STABLE?
A stable shoe makes it easier to roll the foot and limit the efforts of foot and ankle control in order to have a relaxed support. So we increased the support surface of the foot and integrated the ARKSTAB, a TPU resin part in the midfoot.
THE COMFORT OF KIPRUN KS500
For long, regular runs, foot comfort is essential. That's why we've improved comfort with : - a new collar at the back of the liner for excellent heel retention and ideal cushioning. - a preformed sole made from PU (polyurethane) honeycomb foam. - a reworked forefoot area for zero discomfort. - one-piece, seamless fabric to reduce the risk of chafing.
EXCELLENT ROADHOLDING ON WET ROADS AND WHEN CORNERING
Our sole has been designed like a car tire for efficient running without loss of control, even when it's raining. The sole geometry combined with a new rubber compound gives KIPRUN LONG2 excellent grip on wet surfaces, even at top speed.
WHAT NEW FEATURES ON THE KIPRUN KS500?
Thanks to your opinions over the past 2 years, we have completely redesigned the sole of the KS500 to improve comfort and make the foot roll even more smoothly.
The KS500 upper has also been redesigned to improve breathability (thanks to the more breathable tongue) and comfort (thanks to the semi-slipper construction).
