With its 10mm drop, our men's running shoe is perfectly suited to runners who tend to put their heel first. Cushioning is optimized and the stride is lighter thanks to the shock distributed along the entire length of the foot.
AN OPTIMIZED SOLE FOR ALL RUNNERS
Because good cushioning is essential to be able to run for many kilometers without risk of injury, our teams have optimized the sole with:
- The K-Ring: a ring in the heel for good cushioning and dispersion of the shock wave to protect the body
- KALENSOLE foam: improves cushioning by 34%, energy return by +25% and durability of 100km, for a high-performance, solid running shoe.
UNEQUAL STABILITY
As a runner, having a stable running shoe is essential for a serene sporting experience. Thanks to the KIPRUN LONG 2, the foot rolls over more easily, and the effort required to control the foot and ankle is limited, allowing for more relaxed support. To optimize the KIPRUN, our teams have integrated the ARKSTAB, a TPU resin part in the middle of the foot, and added a reinforcement at the back of the heel.
THE KIPRUN LONG 2: REWORKED COMFORT
Good comfort is essential if you want to run for a long time without risk! That's why we've incorporated the following features into our running shoes:
- a new collar at the back of the shoe for excellent heel retention and ideal cushioning.
- a preformed sole made from PU (polyurethane) honeycomb foam.
- a reworked forefoot area for zero discomfort.
- a one-piece, seamless fabric to limit the risk of chafing.

Because not all runners have the same stride, we've incorporated our exclusive K-ONLY concept. This denser foam, located under the first metatarsal, adapts perfectly to the foot, accompanying every stride to perfection.
BETTER GRIP ON WET ROADS
At Decathlon, we know how essential it is to be able to trust your running shoes in all circumstances. That's why we've improved the rubber sole of the KIPRUN LONG 2. As a result, even at top speed on wet roads or bends, you'll have optimum grip and never have to worry about falling, even in heavy rain.
