TECHNICAL INFORMATION

1 - The skating boot

In skating, you need good lateral ankle support to facilitate your support (in the pushing phase) and balance (in the gliding phase).

This is why skating boots have a high shaft with a rigid collar to ensure excellent ankle support and optimize ski-snow contact.

2 - A shoe adapted to my level and needs.

Choose a shoe adapted to your level of practice, because a shoe that is too basic will limit your progress, but choosing a shoe that is too technical risks reducing your sensations and your pleasure in practice because they will be less tolerant of technical imperfections.

Experienced = opt for the best compromise between comfort and rigidity
Experts = opt for a high-performance shoe with great rigidity and carbon for efficient thrust.
