Opening/closing system
With its 4 hooks, this children's ski boot is both precise and easy to adjust. 4 instep positions and 6 shin positions. Velcro strap + micrometric hook for even more precise adjustment.
What's flex?
To give an indication of the shoe's rigidity, brands define a flex index for each shoe. The higher the value, the stiffer the shell. A flex value of 60 is considered ideal for the transmission of support in very good children's shoes.
What is my child's shoe size?
Ski boot sizes are expressed in Mondopoint sizes. This is the length of the foot in cm.
Place your heels against a wall, slide a sheet of paper underneath, bend over and measure the longest foot.
For example, if your foot is 27.2cm long, you should choose size 27/27.5.
A size 27 boot is exactly the same as a 27.5.
How do I try on a ski boot?
Once the foot is in the shoe, close the hooks halfway. If the child can go any further, it means that the shoe's volume is not right for him. Once the shoe is closed, he should perform 3 large flexions, pressing hard on his shins to move the heel back into the shoe. Standing up straight, he must touch the toe of the shell. As he flexes, his foot should move back and he should no longer feel the toe.
