TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Separate clamping system - 3 zones

This boot's 3-zone tightening system is designed for demanding snowboarders:
1. Micro-adjustable habu®FitSystem tightening (thumbwheel + laces + lace guide) to adjust ankle support at will
2. Lower shoe tightening with laces locked by a specially designed plastic part
3. Top tightening with laces for customized tightening force.

habu® Fit System (produced by Boa® technology)

The habu®FitSystem combines three important technical elements to transform the experience of snowboarders:
1) the innovative habu® knob ensures micro-adjustable and precise tightening,
2) the habu® cable is lightweight, yet highly resistant with its 75 stainless steel strands.
3) the habu® low-friction lacing guides ensure even pressure distribution while minimizing wear and guaranteeing long life.

How do I repair the habu®FitSystem?

Supplied by BOA Technology Inc, the knurls and laces of the habu® adjustment system have undergone thousands of hours of rigorous laboratory and field testing, and are guaranteed for the life of the boot on which they are integrated.
After-sales service is available at habufit.com/support

Shoe flexibility and rigidity

The medium flex (5/10) provides optimum comfort for freestyle riding, whether you're tweaking grabs, boxing or rail riding. A stiffer boot would be too demanding and less pleasant to ride in the park.

Flex Up added

The Flex Up stiffens the boot by about 2 out of 10 flex points (with the Flex Up, the new Endzone 500 is about 7/10 stiffer).
This plastic accessory is inserted into the tongue of Decathlon snowboard boots from the 2022/23 season onwards. (A pocket is provided so that it can be positioned at the right height and sideways).
Flex Up comes into its own over time: when the boot becomes softer, give it a second life.

Heel support: liner level 3(/3)

Foot support is an essential element in snowboarding for good board control (whether the foot is in the liner or the liner in the boot). The level 3 liner has 6 conceptual advantages:
1. Thermoformable liner from home
2. Ergonomic malleolar foam
3. Innerboot tightened by a textile web attached to the shoe
4. Foot-tightening knob to secure the foot to the bottom of the shoe
5. Velcro fastening on upper
6. 3D insole

1. INDEPENDENT LINER THERMOFORMING / POINTS TO WATCH OUT FOR

THERMOFORMING IS APPLICABLE ONLY ON ELECTRIC FURNACES WITH HEAT ROLLING MODE 56 x 60 x 56 cm. DO NOT USE WITH A GAS OVEN OR A SMALL AUXILIARY OVEN WITH VISIBLE ELECTRIC RESISTANCE.

1. Independent liner thermoforming / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Heat your oven to 80°C, fan oven
2. Remove the inner soles of the slippers and place them on an oven tray lined with baking paper
3. Wait 15 min
4. Put the liners back on, slip on the booties with a pair of ski-snowboard socks and tighten them (not too tightly)
5. Put on boots and tighten to 5. Wait 15 minutes in static
This operation can be repeated if necessary.

2. Ergonomic Heel Pad malleolar foam

The Endzone 500's flex is rated at 5/10, which is soft and forgiving. This type of flex offers very predictable cornering behavior, with no surprises. Designed for freestyle use, the Endzone's flex is ideal for flat riding (ollies, nollies, butter, nose roll...). But it's also suitable for beginner snowboarders.

3. Liner tightening with 3-point textile webbing

The lining of the Endzone boot is encased in a 3-point tightened textile web. This concept distributes the tightening force evenly around the foot, ensuring foot stability in the boot.

4.heel cushioning

We've added a layer of PU foam under the insole to provide comfort under the heel when landing jumps.

5. Velcro top

Velcro fastenings at the top of the liner keep the liner tongue in place with the sides, whatever the foot's movements. This keeps the foot in place all day long.

6. 3D insole

The insole of this shoe is 3D. The insole is pre-formed at the heel and arch to limit foot movement in the shoe. It provides comfort and thermal insulation. To increase the foot's cushioning in the liner, but only if you feel you need it, there's an alternative: buy a thermo-formable insole for your foot. This is the most effective solution.

Sole: grip, cushioning and thermal insulation

Our ultralight sole is made exclusively of EVA. EVA is a very light material with 80% air. This formulation is designed to resist abrasion while retaining its cushioning properties. It is naturally highly insulating and protects against the cold coming up from the ground. We've designed large studs for excellent grip. The studs are spaced far enough apart to facilitate snow evacuation.

How can I be sure it's the right size?

1. Put on shoe
2. Tighten the shoe
3. Stand up
4. Your big toes touch the tip of the shoe without any uncomfortable pressure
5. Bend your legs forward, your big toes move backwards and no longer touch the tip of the shoe.
