A shoe co-created with legendary Street Football ambassadors
To design this iconic shoe, we surrounded ourselves with the greatest Street Players such as Séan Garnier and the members of the S3 Freestyle Team Andréas Cetkovic, Soufiane Bencock, Moss, Traffy and Cris.
Between them, they have 7 World Champion titles, 2 European Champion titles and 21 national titles in various disciplines (Freestyle, Panna, Futsal, 4x4, etc.). Their talent is recognized the world over.
A patented ultra-technical sole with high style value
The BARRIO sole is inspired by the streetwear world, with its traditional cupsole* construction for easy all-day wear.
To be able to play anywhere, even on hard ground, cushioning has been directly integrated into the sole, with a perforated EVA insert in the forefoot and RingCushion technology in the heel: derived from running, this doughnut- or cushion-shaped insert reduces the shockwave on impact with the ground.
Rub-Last technology: an innovative and unique component for maximum stem resistance
To withstand the most demanding terrain, from the city stadium to the street, we have developed a unique component on the instep of BARRIO shoes that combines resistance and ball feel. This Rub-Last component is a clever blend of a textile weave for lightness, flexibility and tear resistance, and a rubber base for finesse and durability over time.
*Find out more about the cupsole sole
A cupsole is a type of sole made from a single piece of rubber. Distinguishable by its high walls and edges, the concave shape of the sole is reminiscent of the geometry of a bowl, hence the name cupsole. EVA foam can be integrated into the rubber ribs. The sole is then glued and/or stitched directly to the upper.
This process results in a more robust sole, a more durable bond, greater stability and improved abrasion resistance.
