ABRASION RESISTANCE
In your movements and stances, you may have to rub your shoe against the ground, accelerating wear on the sole. The surfaces you play on are also abrasive. Our shoes are laboratory-tested on an exclusive machine, developed to reproduce the wear observed in play on the heel, forefoot, top of the toes and inside of the foot.
THE DAMPENED ETOILE TEST
Shoes are tested in the laboratory on a standardized machine reproducing heel impacts during tennis stances, using an 8kg impactor. The greater the peak acceleration, the greater the impact on the body.
THE ETOILE WELCOME COMFORT TEST
The shoes are blind-tested on a representative panel of female tennis players. They rate the shoe's comfort, corresponding to the fit and softness of the shoe during the first fitting, on a scale of 0 to 20.
