MT CUSHION, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
MT, two letters for the mountains, the traileur's beloved. Shoes for the mountains, but not only: they are suitable for all types of terrain, from rock to mud to dry trails. THE ICONIC MT CUSHION GETS A MAKEOVER WITH VERSION 2!
The suggestions for improvement you gave us helped us to challenge ourselves and make progress on the second version of the MT CUSHION, of which we are even prouder.
On the program:
- a new stud design for reliable and resistant grip,
- a reworked midsole for even softer cushioning,
- and a new 100% MATRYX® textile upper (woven in the Ardèche region) for great resistance.
KALENSOLE TECHNOLOGY FOR THE SOFTEST CUSHIONING!
The MT CUSHION 2 is impressive, to say the least (and no pun intended). In fact, the 100% KALENSOLE midsole provides an 18% improvement in cushioning over the previous model, and a 57% return of energy.
Not bad, eh? Resistant, this foam doesn't sag, and gives you soft, comfortable cushioning, ideal for covering all those kilometers in the best possible conditions.
MATRYX®, THE ULTIMATE IN QUALITY AND DURABILITY
Our team designed the MT CUSHION 2 with a 100% MATRYX® textile upper, the benchmark on the trail-running planet. Composed of high-tenacity polyester yarns coated with polyurethane, it provides unequalled resistance. Its airy structure adds lightness and breathability. We've added aramid yarn to this weave for even greater support. Thanks to MATRYX®, you no longer have to choose between lightness and resistance.
MT CUSHION 2, A 4mm DROP
The drop is the difference in height between the front and rear of the shoe: 4 mm for the MT CUSHION 2, which classifies it as a low-drop shoe.
With KALENSOLE foam heights of 22mm in the heel and 18mm under the forefoot, we have been able to provide more cushioning and comfort in this more sensitive area of the foot.
This also helps to isolate the foot from the ground's roughness.
TRUST YOUR SUPPORT!
We opted for 5mm studs under the entire sole: this ensures optimal grip and the shoe is neither weighed down nor stiffened by their weight.
What's more, we spaced our studs far enough apart to facilitate the removal of any dirt that might slip between them.
The rubber sole has been carefully selected to ensure good grip on stones or wet rocks. Perfect for safe running.

THE TRICK THAT GIVES PLEASURE
You may have noticed it before... without really looking into it. We're talking about that little pocket at the top of your shoe's tongue, the one on which you fasten your laces. The pocket in question allows you to store your laces in such a way that they don't come loose during effort, get caught on a branch, or anything else. What's more, they stay clean - and we love that!
