DECATHLON VOLLEYBALL OFFERS SHOES TAILORED TO THE NEEDS OF EACH POSITION
To achieve such a feat, we worked with the best internal and external partners. To create the Stability model for Liberos and Passers, our engineers worked closely with top players. For the Cushion model, designed for strikers and centers, we teamed up with Spraino, an innovative Danish start-up offering an ankle "anti-twist" technology for indoor sports.
CO-CREATION WITH TOP ATHLETES FOR GREATER TECHNICALITY AND PERFORMANCE
Our first example is the co-creation with Alessia Orro, setter for Vero Volley Milano and European Champion in 2021. The aim of our project was to develop a high-level shoe that an international player would be proud to wear on the court. For 6 months, our engineers stayed close to the field and listened to the player's needs at every stage of the shoe's design. The feedback we received gave life to this model.
