TECHNICAL INFORMATION

THE WINNING COMBO OF CUSHIONING AND DYNAMISM

The new VFOAM foam (pebax® technology) developed with Arkema provides both comfort and energy restitution. The dynamic material (pebax®) is placed under the areas where plantar pressure is greatest during ground contact (heel, metatarsals). This pebax® material is combined with a denser EVA on the outer contour of the sole to help the foot roll smoothly.

A SEAMLESS MOLDED STEM

The upper of our men's running shoes has been specifically constructed to prevent chafing. It is made of one piece and the tongue and heel are pressed and molded to ensure maximum comfort. This allows you to run many kilometres without the risk of injury or pain.

A NEWFOUND LIGHTNESS

The weight of a running shoe has a significant impact on the energy expenditure and therefore on the performance of the runner: the lighter a shoe is, the more it contributes to performance. VFOAM foam has been selected in particular for its lightweight properties. Our engineers have also worked on optimising the weight of the KD500 2 with the sole geometry worked in generative design (computer-aided design): more studs in the most stressed areas.

INFALLIBLE HANDLING

Being able to have good grip even on wet roads is essential to allow you to race with confidence. The sole of the men's running shoe KIPRUN KD500 2 has been reworked with a new geometry and high-performance rubber. Allowing you to reach your top speed on wet surfaces without the risk of falling.
