TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Cast polyurethane insole for greater comfort and protection on landings.

The polyurethane insole absorbs shocks while preserving the boardfeel.
With a thickness of 9mm in the heel and 5mm in the forefoot, this insole is resistant to gaps.
The compression set of the polyurethane is very low, so this insole will retain its initial shape and technical characteristics for a long time.

How solid is the new VULCA 500 II?

Hidden Rubber Toecap (HRT): laminated rubber reinforcement under the leather
This additional reinforcement, strong and discreet, delays the appearance of holes on the side of your shoes due to repetitive aggression from the board's grip.
In addition, the shoe's outsole is 11% thicker to resist wear even more, without compromising boardfeel and grip.
Protect rubbing areas with SHOE GOO II repair glue.

A cutting edge specially designed for skateboarding

The skateboard boot is the interface between the skater's body and the board. That's why it's important for the boot to be relatively close to the foot, for maximum precision and control of the board.
We took customer feedback into account and decided to redesign a new, slimmer, narrower shape. This shape, closer to the foot, gives you a better feel for the board during tricks, as well as greater precision and control in all situations.

What is a vulcanized sole?

A vulcanized sole is a sole made from hot-bonded rubber. Vulcanization welds together the fabric upper, the rubber band and the sole. The advantages of this technique are many: flexibility and grip. It gives you a good feel for your skateboard and the control you need to perform tricks.

How to choose the right size of skate shoes?

New vulcanized skate shoes are generally quite narrow when first worn. They adjust after a few hours' wear (the vulcanized band deforms to fit the foot). Ideally, therefore, you should choose a skate shoe that fits snugly. For thin feet, we advise you to take your usual size. For wide feet, don't hesitate to go up a size, especially for everyday wear.

How to extend the life of your skate shoes with SHOE GOO II repair glue

To prolong the life of your skate shoes, we recommend using a SHOE GOO II type shoe repair glue.
Areas subject to wear, such as the OLLIES and FLIPS zones on the upper part of the shoe, can be protected before use or easily repaired. The glue will create a protective layer against grip abrasion. This way, your skate shoes can last much longer, until the sole wears out.
