Our materials are subjected to a Martindale test: reproducing the effect of a backpack strap rubbing against the shoulders.
After validating this test in the laboratory, we repeat it in the field with real backpacks and real users.

We tested this shirt in England as part of a typical week-long backpacking session.
A group of external testers put themselves in the shoes of our real backpacker users to test, improve and approve the shirt. It was designed and validated in the field under real backpacking conditions: walking, youth hostels, transport, picnics. It's been through it all and survived!
