TECHNICAL INFORMATION

How does Trick 100 work?

"To start learning tricks without the board moving, we put the skateboard in the grass, but then it was complicated to popper."
Based on their experiences when they first started skateboarding, our design team came up with an accessory that immobilizes the board, so they can work on basic tricks without risking losing their balance.
How? Quite simply, thanks to a wedge that attaches to the truck in a single movement and raises the skateboard's wheels!

A trick for your trucks, we tell you about the design of the Trick 100 :

First of all, Tricks 100 are sold in packs of 2! This allows you to immobilize either your two rear wheels, or one front and one rear wheel, diagonally.
The second piece of good news is that, with their practical design and TPU material, Tricks 100 are lightweight and easy to transport.
And you don't need any tools to fit them: the piece simply fits onto all sizes of truck, and the wedge raises wheels from size 52 to 56mm.

Tricks and figures: we explain.

In skateboarding, zipping means going forwards or backwards... and often ending up on the ground.
So if you want to work on your tricks on a stable board, use the Trick 100 to raise your wheels and bring them to a standstill.
And which tricks exactly? The ones you can do at a standstill:
- The shove-it, with a Trick 100 on the front truck and a Trick 100 on the rear truck
- The kickflip and the ollie, with 2 Tricks 100 on the rear truck.

We tell you the story of Trick 100:

When we first developed this product, we asked ourselves how we could help beginners perform basic skateboarding tricks. And we quickly came to a conclusion: by immobilizing the board, you can concentrate on your move without worrying about balance and the risk of falling.
What followed was 2 years of research, dozens of prototypes and tests with partners and then in schools.
The result is a simple, practical accessory that reduces the need for zippers!

Any last words of advice before getting on your board?

Jean-Philippe, Product Manager at DECATHLON Skateboarding, gives his opinion:
"In any case, it's a good idea to wear protection, as it means you can fall without getting hurt and get right back on your board! And I don't think you should hesitate to take lessons: more and more skateboarding schools are opening up. You can progress 10 times faster and pick up good habits right away, like pushing off with the back foot!"

TESTS

Our products are laboratory-tested. These tests are used to validate standards for skateboard use, as well as wear tests. These lab tests are supplemented by field tests, some measured, others based on the perception of testers, who then put the product through its paces.
For this, we rely on our community of partners and skate schools in Europe.
