Why wear tights?
Tights are worn close to the body to retain body heat. In winter, they're your best bet for fighting the cold and getting training off to a good start. They must fit snugly to prevent air from penetrating. The tights' stretch fabric ensures freedom of movement. Their moisture-wicking fabric ensures you can train without the stress of humidity.
Details of ML R500 tights: what makes them special for rugby?
The tights are designed for the demands of rugby. The seams are reinforced to resist pulling and tackling. The main fabric chosen is also adapted. It can stretch but remains resistant to pulls, and won't be damaged by friction during practice. We've also added silicone strips on the thighs. A little extra support when hitting the ball.
A pair of tights, a team and partners:
Our design team consists of a product manager, an engineer, a pattern maker and a designer. They have taken into account feedback from our technical partners at OMR (Olympique Marcquois Rugby - Fédérale 2) and LMRCV (Rugby Villeneuve d'Asq - Honneur). Our partners support us in improving our products by participating in all stages of design and validating them during tests reproducing all game situations.
