Our team, passionate about mountain trekking, has developed these tights which contain merino wool to guarantee an ideal body climate.

It keeps you at the right temperature thanks to its excellent thermal regulation. And we use merino wool yarn protected by a polyamide filament to enhance its durability.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Trimming and cutting

These tights have a close-fitting cut to facilitate moisture transfer to the outside of the fabric.
The addition of 4% elastane brings comfort and freedom of movement.

How did we increase the durability of tights containing merino wool?

Use of a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which polyamide filaments form a fine sheath around the merino wool fibers, protecting them from chafing and cutting without impairing their benefits.

A word of advice before use

For even softer components, don't hesitate to wash your tights before using them for the first time.

How to wash my TREK 500 MERINOS tights

We recommend that you machine-wash your tights containing merino wool at 30°, normal cycle, preferably with a liquid detergent.
Dry flat, NEVER tumble dry unless you want to lose one or two sizes!

TESTS

In November 2018, 8 trekkers (4 men and 4 women) accompanied by part of the Forclaz design team tested these tights for 4 days in the French Southern Alps (Lus la Croix Haute). The program included wind, rain, a little snow, a bivouac... and lots of good humor! We were thus able to make some final modifications and validate them for mountain trekking use.
