Concept & design
This hunting collar has a dynamic design inspired by the adrenalin and speed of show jumping. In particular, you'll find taut, anatomical lines designed to respect the horse's morphology and movement. To combine the sportiness of the discipline with the femininity of the sport, we've designed subtle details with contrasting white stitching and a silver plate FOUGANZA.
Tailor
This hunting collar is available in two sizes: CS for D ponies and small horses, FS for horses.
Setting
This model features numerous adjustments. Strap attachment is facilitated by a snap hook. This can be removed if you don't need it. Likewise, the small quarter clips are adjustable and can be clipped to two removable snap hooks. The rings can also be clipped to the reins, and the fork can be adjusted with two buckles.
Our tips for adjusting your hunting collar
The wrong hunting collar can restrict your horse's movement, particularly at the withers and shoulders. To avoid this, we've designed the collar to fit over the shoulder. It's therefore important to use all the adjustments (small quarters, strap and webbing) to position the collar over the shoulder without constraining the lowering of the neck.
Our tips for adjusting your martingale
If incorrectly adjusted, the martingale fork can restrict the horse's movement. We therefore advise you to take the time to find the right setting before starting your training. The length of the fork is usually set at 2/3 of the neck. You can fine-tune it using the loop connecting the two elastics. To avoid any accidents, make sure that the neck collar and strap loop are snug, but not too tight.
Easy adjustment
Each elastic band has a clip-on ring. No need to detach your reins, the rings clip on in an instant. Likewise, the strap attachment can be clipped on thanks to its ultra-strong, removable snap hook.
Our maintenance tips
To preserve your hunting collar, we recommend regular maintenance with glycerine soap applied to a sponge dampened with warm water. You can then moisturize your leather with grease applied to a household or special leather cloth. If you feel that your leather is rough and dry, you can complete this maintenance with moisturizing milk, which will deeply nourish your leather.
