YOU'RE AN EXPERT SURFER
Surfing is your favorite sport. During your sessions, you paddle to the line up, pass the bar like a duck if you're on a shortboard, or like a turtle if you're on a longboard. You're committed to riding powerful waves of over a metre. You know how to surf all types of waves. We've designed a range of boards to suit your intensive riding and your body type.
THIS SUIT HAS NO ZIP!
This 3/2 wetsuit mm is zip free and is aimed at expert and experienced surfers. Putting on this type of wetsuit isn't easy at first, but it offers exceptional rowing freedom. As you get used to putting it on, the neoprene loosens slightly and it becomes routine.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
To get the most out of your wetsuit, you need to choose the right size. A wetsuit should fit snugly and there should be no visible creases. When dry, it's normal to feel too tight; this discomfort disappears as soon as the wetsuit gets wet, as the neoprene relaxes in the water. Wherever possible, we strongly encourage you to try it on in the cabin before you buy.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT COMBINATION (PART 1)
The first criterion for choosing a wetsuit is water temperature.
Water temperature varies according to location and time of year.
Always check that the water temperature on your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range:
Waters above 20°C.
Waters between 17 and 22°C.
Waters between 12 and 17°C.
Waters between 7 and 12°C.
Consult seatemperature.org for the temperature of your spot.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT COMBINATION (PART 2)
The 2nd criterion to consider is the duration of your sessions. If your sessions last less than an hour, the 100 models are ideal. For up to 2 hours, choose a 500 model, and for up to 3 hours, a 900 model. Compared with 100 models, 500 models are warmer (and more waterproof), less tiring (more freedom of movement) and less irritating. The same applies to 900 models compared to 500 models. NB: 900 models are easier to put on.
MAXIMUM FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT
The women's 900 wetsuit line OLAIAN features a cut and materials specifically chosen to facilitate rowing and free up movement to the maximum.the entire wetsuit is made of ultra-stretch neoprene.all seams are stretchable. the fact that this wetsuit has no zip, frees up the back completely during practice.
COL
The collar finish has been designed to limit irritation. Depending on individual sensitivity, a UV top can be worn under the suit to reduce the risk of irritation. The application of a greasy cream (e.g. Vaseline) in areas of friction (neck, armpits, knees) is also recommended for long wear. At the 1st fitting, the collar may feel tight, but this area will relax once in the water.
KEY POCKET
A key pocket is located in the front panel.
MATERIALS
The OLAIAN 900 wetsuits are made from 100% ultra-stretch neoprene for maximum comfort and freedom of movement. The neoprene is lined with synthetic textile for greater resistance to wear and tear.
Neoprene thickness: 3 mm and 2 mm
Neoprene is composed of an elastomer foam with insulating properties. We test and guarantee the quality of our neoprene materials.
FOR EVERY TEMPERATURE RANGE
When we're in the water, we lose more than half our body heat through our extremities (feet, hands, head). We therefore recommend the following accessories:
- in water > 17°C: neoprene socks.
- in water 12 to 17°C: high booties and gloves.
- in water 7 to 12°C: high booties, gloves, balaclava and balaclava top.
