The concept of neoprene thermal insulation:
By immobilizing a film of water around the body, the neoprene wetsuit works two ways:
1. the water trapped inside the wetsuit gradually warms up
2. heat dissipation to the outside decreases.
The wetsuit and the film of water form an insulating layer.
Neoprene is a closed-cell elastomer foam containing nitrogen bubbles with insulating properties.
The 1mm neoprene dinghy/catamaran wetsuit is designed for warm weather.
The 1mm sun protection neoprene wetsuit Tribord is partly made of neoprene to guarantee good thermal comfort
The parts of the body most exposed and sensitive to wind and cold (chest and shoulders for wind, lower body for water) are protected by neoprene (thickness: 1mm).
In cool and/or slightly windy weather, wear the S100 jacket Tribord.
The freedom of movement of the 1mm sun protection neoprene wetsuit:
The 1mm sun protection neoprene wetsuit Tribord features a cut and materials designed to facilitate maneuvers and different positions in light sailing.
The arms and torso are made of super-soft Lycra-type materials to facilitate maneuvers.
The legs and knees have different inserts to facilitate sitting, crouching and tacking.
All seams are stretchable.
Neoprene reinforcements at the knees, thighs and buttocks of the 1mm sun protection neoprene wetsuit:
The 1mm sun protection neoprene wetsuit Tribord features reinforcements on the knees (down to the bottom), buttocks and thighs.
The additional component plays two roles:
- to limit wear and tear of the neoprene on areas most exposed to friction on the boat (deck fittings, liston, carpets, etc.).. depending on the support)
- to limit the discomfort caused by this friction on the knees, buttocks and thighs for the wearer who is active on the boat.
1mm neoprene wetsuit collar with sun protection :
The finish and height of the collar have been designed to limit the discomfort of neoprene and irritation to even the most sensitive skin.
However, not all skin reacts in the same way: in this case, we advise you to wear a top under the wetsuit to limit the risk of sensitive rubbing.
Repair
