YOU'RE AN EXPERT SURFER
Surfing is your favorite sport. During your sessions, you paddle to the line up, passing the bar like a duck if you're on a shortboard, or like a turtle if you're on a longboard. You show your commitment in powerful waves of over one meter. We've designed a range to suit your intensive use and your body type.
MAXIMUM FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT
The women's 900 wetsuit line OLAIAN features a cut and materials specifically chosen to facilitate rowing and free up maximum movement. The entire wetsuit is made of ultra-stretch neoprene, and all seams are stretchable.
The chest zip frees up the back completely during practice, offering optimal paddling, but requires real effort when putting on the wetsuit, and is aimed at experienced surfers.
COMFORT BEFORE AND AFTER THE SESSION
The inside of the suit features a soft knit, allowing you to put on and take off your suit with ease. This knit dries quickly, so you can comfortably put your suit back on the next day.
COL
The collar finish has been designed to limit irritation. Depending on individual sensitivity, a UV top can be worn under the suit to reduce the risk of irritation. The application of a greasy cream (e.g. Vaseline) in areas of friction (neck, armpits, knees) is also recommended for long wear. At the 1st fitting, the collar may feel tight, but this area will relax once in the water.
CLOSE
The chest zip closure frees up movement while providing a better seal than a conventional back closure. The zipper slider is made of stainless steel to resist saltwater aggression.
KEY POCKET
A key pocket is located in the front panel under the zip.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT COMBINATION (PART 1)
The first criterion for choosing a wetsuit is water temperature.
Water temperature varies according to location and time of year.
Always check that the water temperature on your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range:
Warm waters above 20°C. Temperate waters between 17 and 22°C.
Temperate waters between 17 and 22°C.
Cold waters between 12 and 17°C.
Very cold waters between 7 and 12°C.
Consult seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your spot.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT COMBINATION (PART 2)
The 2nd criterion to consider is the duration of your sessions. If your sessions last less than an hour, the 100 models are ideal. For up to 2 hours, choose a 500 model, and for up to 3 hours, a 900 model. Compared to 100 models, 500 models are warmer, less tiring (more freedom of movement) and less irritating. The same applies to 900 models compared to 500 models. NB: 900 models are less easy to put on.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
To get the most out of your wetsuit, you need to choose the right size. A wetsuit should fit snugly and there should be no visible creases. When dry, it's normal to feel too tight, but this discomfort disappears as soon as the wetsuit gets wet. Whenever possible, we encourage you to try it on in the cabin before you buy.
STAY WARM LONGER WITH ACCESSORIES! FOR EVERY TEMPERATURE RANGE...
When we're in the water, we lose more than half our body heat through our extremities (feet, hands, head). We therefore recommend the following accessories:
- in warm and temperate water (>17°C) => neoprene socks.
- in cold water (12 - 17°C): high booties and gloves.
- in very cold water (7 - 12°C): high booties, gloves, balaclava and balaclava top.
