The little details that make all the difference!
- This tri-functional garment features a siliconized thigh band, to prevent the bottom from moving when wearing or putting on a neoprene wetsuit for swimming.
- A rear zip ensures quick donning for your child, and has an internal protective strip to prevent chafing.
- Finally, underarms don't come into contact with the material, so won't be irritated.
Do I need to wear a wetsuit to swim?
Yes... and no.
Trifunctions don't offer thermal protection, but the buoyancy of a neoprene wetsuit is a plus for swimming. Good to know: the French Triathlon Federation prohibits the use of wetsuits for swimming if the water temperature exceeds 24°C, and makes them compulsory if the water temperature drops below 16°C. Between 16 and 24°C, it's up to you.
