TRIFUNCTION = A 3-IN-1 PRODUCT
A triathlete's iconic accessory, the trifonction is a must-have and a triathlon must-have.
- For swimming, its material is similar to that of a swimsuit.
- For cycling, its thin, supple gel skin adapts to your morphology and improves seating comfort. The tri-function also doubles as a cycling shorts, so you can wear it without underwear.
- When running, its thin gel skin makes you forget you're wearing it, so you can run lightly.
All you have to do is cross the finish line!
ALWAYS STAY DRY!
Thanks to the tri-function's lightweight component, you dry ultra-fast during your swim/bike transition, so you don't pedal wet. And yes, so you don't lose any time during this transition, it's with your trifunction under your neoprene wetsuit that you'll be swimming!
This trifunction also features mesh zones to wick away perspiration where your body sweats most: under your arms and along your spine.
THE LITTLE DETAILS THAT MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
- This tri-function features thermoformed elastics at the arms and thighs, so it won't budge when worn or when you put on a neoprene wetsuit for the swimming part.
- The full-length zip opens like a vest, allowing you to breathe during the race. It also makes pee breaks much more practical!
- The material used for the top of the tri-function is very light, for greater comfort and quicker drying. The whole "thigh" section has excellent support.
A PRODUCT DESIGNED TO CARRY NUTRITION
To reach the finish line of a long-distance triathlon (between 3 and 6 hours of effort), you need to think about eating! This trifunction features two thermoformed pockets on the thighs: with no seams or fastenings, they don't feel tight, and the products inside are under tension and won't move.
There are also two mesh pockets in the lumbar area. These four pockets hold a total of 10 bars and/or gels for your refueling needs!
TRIFONCTION, COMBI TRIATHLON, TRIFONCTION TRIATHLON... WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
None at all! It's the same type of triathlon suit, a 3-in-1 combi: it's up to you to choose the term you prefer. Be careful not to confuse it with a neoprene suit, which provides buoyancy and thermal insulation for the swimming part.
DO YOU HAVE TO WEAR AN EXTRA WETSUIT TO SWIM?
It all depends on the water temperature!
The buoyancy of a neoprene wetsuit makes it ideal for swimming. Good to know: the French Triathlon Federation prohibits the use of wetsuits for swimming if the water temperature exceeds 24°C, and makes them compulsory if the temperature drops below 16°C. Between 16 and 24°C, it's up to you.
