TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Why linen?

Linen, a hypoallergenic and antibacterial fiber, has been selected for the material of this corsair: linen has soothing and technical properties. This resistant fiber provides coolness in summer and warmth in winter.
The main fabric of the corsaire contains 38% linen.

Adjust the corsair to your stature

On each side of the corsaire, above the knees, you'll find 2 small cords well hidden in gussets.
By pulling on these little cords, you can shorten the bodice, while creating elegant gathers on the sides.
Don't forget to store the cords in their elastic sub-pockets inside the gussets, to keep them in place.

Ease of movement

The corsiere's main fabric contains 3% elastane. This gives you great ease of movement, but also means that the fabric will stretch, rather like jeans. Don't hesitate to choose a corsiere that's closer to the body: it will adapt to your morphology and your body in motion.

TESTS

Our worldwide design center Quechua is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute-Savoie. This location enables us to test our products in natural terrain.
This hiking brace has been subjected to abrasion tests. Before being selected, the materials of the corsaire and the belt were tested in our laboratory Decathlon Sportslab; then, once designed, the corsaire was worn with a loaded backpack for 10 hours of active walking.

Approved by

This corsair was approved in May 2022 by a group of female testers, during a one-day hike in the Massif de la Sainte Baume, in the south of France.
In order to meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the wild in the conditions you encounter on your hikes.
Our teams, along with a panel of female testers (partners, ambassadors and customers) test our products throughout their development, right up to the moment they are launched on the market.

Maintenance tips

Do not dry clean.

Maximum wash temperature 30°C. Very mild treatment.

Do not tumble dry.

Iron at a maximum soleplate temperature of 110°C. Steam treatment can cause irreversible damage.
