The fabric used in this UV protection product OLAIAN blocks at least 98% of UVB and 95% of UVA rays (UPF 50+). This guarantees effective protection against the sun. It can be used in and out of the water for water sports. UV filtration is generated by the density of the textile fibers, providing long-lasting protection even after washing.
What does UPF 50+ mean?
UPF is a globally standardized sun protection factor (Ultra Violet Protection Factor). It defines the textile's level of protection, and more precisely the proportion of UV transmission. To meet standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the textile blocks at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB rays.
Thermicity and wind
The recommended minimum water temperature for this UV protection swimsuit is 22°C when worn alone. Maximum session duration: 3 hours. Neoprene inserts for added warmth.
Materials
The UV-resistant neoprene corsaire is made of textile and neoprene for better thermal insulation. The neoprene is lined with polyester fabric for greater abrasion resistance. Neoprene thickness: 1.5 mm. Neoprene is a closed-cell elastomer foam (polychloroprene) containing nitrogen bubbles for insulating properties. We test and guarantee the thermal quality of our neoprene materials.
Reduces irritation
This UV-resistant neoprene corset limits chafing and irritation caused by contact with the surfboard or bodyboard. Our test protocols validated that irritation was limited during 3-hour sessions.
Stability in the wave
The sheathing waistband and drawcord ensure that the corsaire stays in position even if you fall in the waves. We recommend the use of a top 500 or 900 anti-UV tee shirt (available in short- and long-sleeved) as a complement to this corsaire, to be well protected.

Behavior in the sun
