Easy sharpening
The Scandinavian emouture will enable you to sharpen your knife very easily. Simply lay your blade flat on the sharpening support, such as a stone or rifle, then tilt the blade onto the edge face. This way, you'll always keep the initial angle for optimum cutting!
5Cr15 stainless steel
Our engineers chose to use 5Cr15 stainless steel on this knife for 3 reasons:
- the steel is hard enough to hold the edge long enough, such as cutting branches or processing venison for 2 hours.
- the steel is soft enough to facilitate sharpening thanks to a hardness of around 56 HRC, and take up the edge in just a few passes on a sharpening rack
- the steel has good corrosion resistance thanks to its chemical composition.
Plastic carrying case
For your safety, keep your knife in its sheath at all times, as soon as you've completed your task. And to help you stay safe on the move, our design team has devised a system for locking the knife in the sheath. To remove the knife, simply press with your thumb while releasing the knife from the sheath. To store, push the knife in until you hear a click.
