We've reworked our entire trimmer for the well-being and comfort of your horses. The blanket is higher and adjusted at the neck so that it doesn't recede. We've increased the volume at the shoulder and designed a well-shaped line to hug the back and take the strain off the withers. The cross chest closure and gusset give the horse more freedom when walking and lowering its head.
The COMBO system:
Our new COMBO system lets you combine this stable rug with our Alweather COMBO waterproof rug. Thanks to the blanket's 4 fasteners and removable belly straps, you can easily switch from a comfortable boxing blanket to a warm, waterproof outdoor blanket that's just as comfortable. You can also use each COMBO system blanket on its own.
Horse comfort :
Our rugs are designed to provide maximum comfort for your horse. The sheepskin collar and withers pad provide extra comfort and protect the base of the neck from rubbing. The 400g/m² padding is ideal for protecting your shorn horse in very cold weather. Our boxing rugs are water-repellent to protect against urine and box humidity.
How to adjust your cover?
It's important to choose the right blanket size. If it's too big, it may turn, and if it's too small, the horse may tear it. To prevent the blanket from moving backwards, the chest straps must be properly adjusted. Crossed belly straps should not be too tight to prevent the horse from getting in the way, or too loose to prevent his hindquarters from getting caught in them.
Care instructions :
We recommend regular cleaning of the blanket. Urine and horse droppings that have dried for too long can cause the blanket to deteriorate. A sale rug can cause skin irritation. Before removing the rug, remove dust with a brush. All Fouganza covers are machine-washable at 30°C (without fabric softener).
