TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Design story :

All our crampons are designed and manufactured in our factory in Chamonix (France) at the foot of Mont-Blanc.
In the field, they are put to the test by our team of partner athletes and mountain guides.

Number of peaks :

- 10-point crampons: 2 front points, 4 side points, 4 retaining points.
- Good compromise between grip and lightness.

Fastening system :

- Rear fastening system: adjustable rear heel support for shoes with rear overhang
- Modular front fastening system:
semi-automatic with soft plastic fastener for shoes without front overhang, or automatic with metal clamp for shoes with front overhang.

- Note: front and rear fastening systems are fully removable and interchangeable with all other fastening systems in the SIMOND cleat range (sold separately).

Size adjustment :

- Available in sizes 36 to 46.
- Size can be adjusted by means of a central bar + slat/stud.
- For small feet, to prevent the bar from protruding beyond the back of the crampons, a screw can be attached to the front of the bar (the screw is supplied with the crampons).

Cambre:

- The front of the studs is arched to facilitate foot roll.

Snow protection :

- Crampons are supplied with snow guards. They prevent snow from accumulating under the crampons, for added safety.

Carrying case :

- The studs come with a carrying case.

Anti-corrosion :

- Anti-corrosion surface treatment on all metal parts.

Standards/Labels :

Product CE certified to EN 893:2019; UIAA 153:2018 (to the exception of §2.2)
