TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Design story :

All our crampons are designed and manufactured in our factory in Chamonix (France) at the foot of Mont-Blanc.
In the field, they are put to the test by our team of partner athletes and mountain guides.

Number of peaks :

14-point crampons:
- 1 forged front point with vertical structure for maximum rigidity (replaceable) + 1 front holding point (fixed)
- Double point in second row for good stability on steep ice and for hooking
- 2 short points in third row for hooking with second row points
- 3 holding points
- Small point under crampon for cauliflowering

Fastening system :

- Rear fastening system: adjustable rear heel support for shoes with rear overhang
- Modular front fastening system: automatic
with metal stirrup for shoes with front overhang

- Note: front and rear fastening systems are fully removable and interchangeable with all other fastening systems in the SIMOND cleat range (sold separately).

Size adjustment :

- Size adjustment from 37 to 47.
- Size adjustment by means of central bar + slat/stud.
For small feet, to prevent the bar from protruding beyond the back of the crampons, a screw can be fixed to the front of the bar (the screw is supplied with the crampons).

Snow protection :

- Crampons are supplied with snow guards. They prevent snow from accumulating under the crampons, for added safety.

Carrying case :

- The studs come with a carrying case.

Anti-corrosion :

- Anti-corrosion surface treatment on all metal parts.

Product CE certified to EN 893:2019; UIAA 153:2018 (to the exception of §2.2)
