The 4 layers to keep you warm when mountain biking.
How do you stay warm and dry on your winter mountain bike tours? We'll explain the 4-layer technique for your upper body:
Start with a layer of underwear.
For the second layer, place your bib shorts straps on top.
Next, your jacket takes care of the third layer, and in case of bad weather, a wind or rain jacket provides the fourth layer.
Are you ready? You're ready for a comfortable winter ride on your mountain bike.
Clever design: cut, seams, materials...
For maximum comfort, our design combines a number of features:
The cut, with its lightweight shoulder straps and ankle zip, makes it easy to put on and provides extra support during mountain biking tours.
The skin seams guarantee maximum comfort and minimum discomfort for mountain biking tours of up to 3 hours.
The different fabrics wick away perspiration and protect you from the cold and vegetation.
Skin, a manufacturing secret made in ROCKRIDER
To help you get the most out of your mountain bike rides, our model makers and protoypists have developed an exclusive technique for molding and inserting the skin into the shorts. The result? Minimal flutter and friction during mountain biking.

Why use bib tights?
Given your position when you're giving it your all on a mountain bike tour, it's important to protect your back and sides from cold and damp. The tights run up your entire back to protect the areas most sensitive to the cold. As for the straps, they provide better support, even when you're working hard.
Result: your shorts stay in place and keep you warm. If that doesn't make you want to get out your mountain bike even in winter... ;)
Your opinions help our products evolve:
To bring you even greater comfort and better performance, we take your opinions into account. That's how our products evolve, based on your sporting experience!
So we've listened to your opinions to offer you lightweight straps, suitable for layering with several layers of clothing, and a cut that avoids creases on the torso, for greater comfort.
Did you know?
Bike shorts are like the kilt of mountain biking: no need for underwear! That's why we recommend washing them after each use.
And to make the most of your mountain bike rides, especially at weekends, they dry overnight!
The design team's advice:
Any last words of advice for the road (or rather, the trails)? "The most important thing is to be well equipped... or well accompanied!"
To avoid any surprises and to prevent your mountain bike ride from turning into a long walk, remember to prepare yourself against technical glitches and unforeseen events. With peace of mind, you'll enjoy nature all the more!
