Why full-sole half-points?
Half-pointes with full soles are ideal for those just beginning to learn ballet. The full sole provides good support for the foot, preventing the ankle from rolling. So you can start ballet with confidence.
A dance teacher's recommendation is highly recommended when choosing ballet shoes.
Why leather ballet shoes?
The choice between leather or canvas ballet shoes is often advised by the dance teacher. It's also a question of comfort and preference when trying on half shoes. Leather is resistant and long-lasting. For maintenance, clean with a damp cloth.
The leather sole guarantees the durability of the demi-pointe.
Why are there drawstrings?
In order to adjust the width of the slipper to each foot morphology, a drawstring is present all around the dance slipper.
When adjusting, remember to pull each side of the drawstring at the same time so as not to lose it in the slipper.
Once adjusted to your foot, this drawstring must be knotted and cut, then its end hidden inside the slipper. A detail not to be forgotten every time you wear slippers!
How to choose your slipper size?
During the fitting, the toes should be held without being too tight. They should be spread out and not tense up. However, you should feel supported. For leather slippers, we recommend a size smaller for thin feet. Note that leather slippers will tend to relax slightly and adapt to the shape of the foot. To check your shoe size, simply step up onto half-pointed shoes and then step down onto flat feet.
The little plus for carrying my slippers?
An attractive pouch is available in your dance department to store all your dance accessories. It has two compartments. The first compartment holds your chignon kit, bandage, rosin and other essentials. A second compartment to store your dance tips separately.
