EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION

Type 1 manual braking device, abseiling devices without friction adjustment function. One attachment point for connecting the harness with a locking connector complying with EN 12275. For use on static ropes conforming to EN 1891, type A with diameters between 9.5 and 10.2 mm and type B with diameters between 9 and 9.5 mm

Information

Recommend that the 8 MK 100 be used only by qualified and/or competent persons or by a user under the direct supervision of a qualified and/or competent person. The free end of the rope must be constantly controlled by hand.

Braking

It depends on the rope's diameter, slipperiness and moisture content, among other factors. Please note that commercial rope diameters have a tolerance of up to + , - 0.2 mm. Rope diameter and characteristics may vary according to use.
