Weight dimension 5kg
Weight in rubber-coated cast iron 5kg:

- Outside diameter: 252mm
Why choose rubber-coated weights?
The rubber coating on these weights absorbs shocks and protects your floors.
Thanks to their ergonomic handle, you can use them with or without a bar! Ideal for cross-training.
They are compatible with all our 28mm bars and are easy to install thanks to their stainless steel ring.
How do I find the right bars for these weights?
These weights are not compatible with weightlifting bars (which have a diameter of 50 mm) but with bars with a diameter of 28 mm, including the following part numbers:
- Straight bar 1.2 metres (ref : 8289897)
- Curl bar 1.2 metres (ref: 8484124)
- Triceps bar 86 cm (ref: 8484125)
- Short bar 35 cm (ref: 1041986)
- Threaded bar 45 cm (ref: 8766096)
- Straight bar 1.55 metres (ref: 8289896)
- Straight bar 2 metres (ref: 8289900)
Weight, bar and disk stop, the essential trio
To practice safely, you need a pair of disc stops (ref: 8574652). They enable the weights to stay in place on the bar.
Do not exceed 15kg of load if you use your bar vertically with Smart stop discs.
Our tips for storing your rubber weights
This body-building disc is made of rubber-coated cast iron. However, rubber does not like humidity and may rust if exposed to it. For this reason, this weight should not be stored outdoors or in damp conditions.
You can clean the rubber coating with a cloth to remove dust and store it on a wall mount designed specifically for weights (ref: 8796727) or in the lower part of a piece of furniture.
A session suggested by our coach to use your 5kg weight
Pectoral workout to build muscle mass:
Short recovery time
- Barbell bench press 4×6-8 reps
- Dumbbell incline press 3×8-10 reps
- Dumbbell squats 3×8-12 reps
- Push-ups 3x as many reps as possible
If you exceed 15 reps on the push-up, you can weight yourself down with a vest or use the resistance of a rubber band to make the workout more complex.
