Time and conditions for water heating
Heating time depends on a number of factors: initial water temperature, outside temperature, type of floor (concrete, grass, etc.), wind, solar power, etc.
To help the temperature rise, expose the shower to the sun between midday and 6pm. The temperature drops as soon as the sun fades.
You can turn on the hot water directly. Caution: the temperature must not exceed 50°C, as this could damage the components or be dangerous for you.
Directions for use
This shower works by gravity. Visual instructions are provided on the shower.
2 possibilities for use:
- hang it on a sturdy tree branch, attach the strap and then hang the handle on the hook.
- place it on a flat surface (e.g. van roof). Be careful not to pull on the shower head's hose, and don't put the shower too close to the edge so it doesn't fall on you.
We recommend you always test the water temperature before taking your shower.
Precautions
We do not recommend placing it behind a car windscreen; our tests have shown that the water can exceed 50°C.
In all cases, we recommend running a little water before taking a shower to check that the water is not too hot.
Water visibility
One of the 2 sides is transparent, so you can see the remaining water level.
