TECHNICAL INFORMATION

THE BENEFITS OF BALL FIBER WADDING

Ball fiber wadding offers an interesting alternative to feather:
- it's made up of multiple fibers that have a great capacity to trap air and insulate against the cold
- it has a good thermal insulation capacity, even when wet
- it's easy to care for: it can be washed in the washing machine, ideally with tennis balls as for a pillow, so that the wadding remains evenly distributed.
Otherwise, you'll need to shake your down jacket to distribute it evenly.

DEPERLANCE

Water repellency is achieved by applying a treatment that prevents water from adhering to the surface of the fabric.
Water "glides" off without being absorbed, so the garment remains light, breathable and warm. However, this does not mean that the garment is waterproof.
This treatment can be renewed to maintain its effectiveness. Sprays to be applied on the outside are preferable to laundry additives, which could reduce the product's breathability.
