TECHNICAL INFORMATION

In case of rain

The fabric of this down jacket is water-repellent. It allows drops of water to roll off the fabric, delaying the penetration of water into the down jacket until you are sheltered. But a down jacket is not waterproof. We therefore advise you to wear a waterproof jacket over the down jacket for prolonged exposure to the rain.

The advantages of a synthetic wadding filling

The wadding filling offers an interesting alternative to feather:
- it provides good thermal insulation even when wet
- it offers a little breathability and may be recommended for dynamic activities (feather is recommended for static activities)
- it is easy to care for: machine washable at 30°C and tumble dryable

An invaluable tip to make your down jacket more resistant!

As a general rule, it is not advisable to wash a down jacket too frequently, as each wash reduces its thermal properties.

All our down jackets have been laboratory-tested on a thermal dummy in 5 km/h wind, reproducing a hike with moderate effort. This test indicates the temperature range best suited to protect you from the cold with this down jacket.

Maintenance tips

Do not dry clean.

Can be tumble-dried. Low temperature, maximum drum exhaust air temperature 60°C.

Do not iron.

Maximum wash temperature 30°C. Normal treatment.
