HOW DOES THE DRAISIENNE CONTRIBUTE TO A CHILD'S PSYCHOMOTOR DEVELOPMENT?
Moving, learning and playing are all essential to a child's development.
With a draisienne, children can learn to balance, find their bearings in space and coordinate their movements, while immersing themselves in their own imaginary worlds.
OUR #1 CHOICE: EASE OF LEARNING
Each component has been specifically designed by our team BTWIN.
The low frame makes it easy for the child to get on and off the bike, as well as over obstacles such as kerbs and hills.
The footrest invites the child to take his feet off the ground and play with his balance. The position of the footrest prepares him to put his feet in the right place when he moves on to the bike.
Finally, the saddle rises to the rear to give the child support and propel himself efficiently.
IS THERE A CORNER LOCK?
We've chosen to leave the handlebars with a high degree of angle rotation, to give you more room to manoeuvre. Nevertheless, the shape of the frame stops the wheel's travel, so the handlebars can't reverse. This leaves the child free to progress safely.
PLAYFUL DESIGN
Our Runride 100 is the epitome of sleek design.
Have you noticed the symbols on the frame? They're sure to attract the attention of budding explorers. We know that at this age, details are important!
A STUDIED WEIGHT
Our RUNRIDE 100 draisienne weighs 3.2 Kg. With no brakes, it's the featherweight of our range!
10-INCH WHEELS
Wheels are 10", with plastic rims and solid EVA foam tires, typically "hybrid" (off-road).
WHY IS BEARING QUALITY IMPORTANT?
The principle of the draisienne is based on the child's propulsion and subsequent search for balance. The quality of the ride comes into play, as this is what enables the child to gain sufficient momentum to lift off his feet and find his balance.
We have chosen simplicity for our entry-level model, with a metal axle inserted directly into the wheel's plastic rim.
ADJUSTMENT RANGE, A DETAIL THAT COUNTS
We've extended the saddle adjustment range to 11 cm, so that our draisienne can accompany your child for longer, with ergonomics adapted to his or her morphology.
minimum saddle height: 30.2 cm
maximum saddle height: 41.2 cm
For children just starting out, the saddle height should correspond to their crotch height (so that their feet are flat on the ground).
The handlebars are also adjustable over a range of 8 cm.
handlebars min: 43.5 cm
handlebars max: 51.5 cm

WITH OR WITHOUT TOOLS?
Saddle and handlebar height can be adjusted with a 5 mm Allen wrench.
Two 5 mm Allen wrenches are required to remove the wheels.
These tools are supplied with the traisienne.
HOW ARE OUR DRAISIENNES TESTED?
All our draisiennes are laboratory-tested. These tests not only validate the EN-71 toy standard, but also verify the product's resistance and braking efficiency. These tests are supplemented by field tests, to ensure that our product meets the specifications for use, and "holds up" in real-life conditions, from the point of view of children, ...and parents!
WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
The box contains the disassembled draisienne (wheels, handlebars and saddle removed) and the tools needed for assembly and adjustment.
Don't panic, you'll find instructions on how to do it. Your mini-rider will be able to enjoy a beautifully prepared and correctly sized draisienne.
Box dimensions: width 133 mm, height 286 mm, depth 600 mm.
HOW TO PRACTICE SAFELY?
Regulations prohibit the use of toys on public roads. The apprentice cyclist must therefore stay on the sidewalk. And for his or her own safety, protective equipment (helmet and protectors) is highly recommended.
COMPATIBILITY WITH OUR ACCESSORIES
This model is compatible with handlebar-mounted accessories with a diameter of 19 mm, as well as with the carrying strap, draisienne bag and draisienne stand.
