The low frame makes it easy for the child to get on and off the bike, as well as over obstacles such as kerbs and hills.
The footrest invites the child to take his feet off the ground and play with his balance. The position of the footrest prepares him to put his feet in the right place when he moves on to the bike.
Finally, the saddle rises to the rear to give the child support and propel himself efficiently.
IS THERE A CORNER LOCK?
We've chosen to leave the handlebars with a high degree of angle rotation, to give you more room to manoeuvre. Nevertheless, the shape of the frame stops the wheel's travel, so the handlebars can't reverse. This leaves the child free to progress safely.

A STUDIED WEIGHT
Our RUNRIDE 900 draisienne weighs 3.6 kg. A light weight for our top-of-the-range draisienne with real wheels (hub, spokes, rubber tires, size 12")! It's the aluminum components (frame, handlebars and seatpost) that make the whole thing lighter, offering the best compromise between weight and efficiency. The only risk with this draisienne is that you'll have trouble keeping up with your little seasoned cyclist!
INNOVATION STOP EASY: A PATENTED BRAKING SYSTEM FOR CHILDREN
A more accessible brake, a better grip - these are the advantages of our "Stop Easy System". The brake lever is pressed parallel to the handlebars for a more natural movement. While remaining progressive, this innovative brake lever delivers 30% more braking power than a conventional lever. An innovation from our B'TWIN team, appreciated by children and parents alike.
A BRAKE LIKE THE BIG ONES
The braking system is a V-brake system with aluminum mini calipers. It has been designed by our teams to be fully adapted to draisienne use: we have positioned the adjustment screw towards the rear to avoid any friction with the child's legs during propulsion.
12-INCH WHEELS
To roll like the big boys on all types of terrain, we've opted for wheels fitted with real hybrid rubber tires with inner tubes, to guarantee grip and cushioning.
The 12-inch wheel size makes it easier to overcome obstacles.
Parents are not left out: the angled valve makes it easier to inflate.
WHY IS BEARING QUALITY IMPORTANT?
The principle of the draisienne is based on the child's propulsion and subsequent search for balance. The quality of the ride comes into play, as it's this that will enable the child to gain sufficient momentum to take off his feet and find his balance.
To encourage speed, the wheels with spokes are fitted with aluminum hubs with ball bearings (as on a grown-up's bike). Get ready for a sporty session with your mini-rider!
ADJUSTMENT RANGE, A DETAIL THAT COUNTS
To ensure that our draisienne remains ergonomically adapted to your child's morphology for longer, we have extended the saddle adjustment range to 9.5 cm.
Minimum height 31.5 cm / maximum 41 cm.
For a child just starting out, the saddle height should correspond to his or her crotch height.
The handlebars are also adjustable over a range of 2.5 cm in height.
maxi handlebars: 55.5 cm.
The handlebars with plunge stem enable the child's position to be adjusted forwards and backwards (5 cm).

We've also thought of parents. The seat height can be adjusted without tools thanks to the "Quick Release" system.
The handlebars can be adjusted with an Allen key 5.

This tool is supplied with the traisienne.

HOW ARE OUR DRAISIENNES TESTED?
All our draisiennes are laboratory-tested. These tests not only validate the EN-71 toy standard, but also verify the product's resistance and braking efficiency. These tests are supplemented by field tests, to ensure that our product meets the specifications for use, and "holds up" in real-life conditions, from the point of view of children, ...and parents!

In the box you'll find: the dismantled bike (wheels, handlebars and saddle removed) and the tools needed for assembly and adjustment.
Don't panic, there's a manual to help you. Your mini-rider will be able to enjoy a beautifully prepared and correctly sized draisienne.

HOW TO PRACTICE SAFELY?
Regulations prohibit the use of toys on public roads. The apprentice cyclist must therefore stay on the sidewalk. And for his or her own safety, protective equipment (helmet and protectors) is highly recommended.
COMPATIBILITY WITH OUR ACCESSORIES
This model is compatible with handlebar-mounted accessories with a diameter of 19 mm, as well as with the carrying strap, draisienne bag and draisienne stand.
