More information on our draisienne VAN RYSEL
This draisienne has been designed to enable children who love to ride to have fun on the flat as well as on pump track, or during short races.
The position and components have been designed to enable children to go faster than with a classic draisienne.
A real little racer in the colors of professional racers' bikes.
A studied weight
Our RUNRIDE RACING draisienne weighs 3.3 Kg.
A light weight for our top-of-the-range draisienne, which is in the category of draisiennes with real wheels (hub, spokes, rubber tires, size 12 inches).
The aluminum components (frame, handlebars and fork) make the whole thing lighter, to offer the best weight/efficiency compromise.
The only risk with this draisienne: that you'll have trouble keeping up with your little budding cyclist!
12-inch wheels
To roll like the big boys on all types of terrain, we've opted for wheels fitted with real hybrid rubber tires with inner tubes, to guarantee grip and cushioning.
The 12-inch wheel size makes it easier to overcome obstacles.
Parents are not left out: the angled valve makes it easier to inflate.
Why is bearing quality important?
The principle of the draisienne is based on the child's propulsion, and the ensuing search for balance.
The quality of the ride comes into play, as this is what will enable the child to gain sufficient momentum to take off his feet and find his balance.
To encourage speed, the wheels with spokes are equipped with aluminum hubs (as on the big bikes).
Get ready for sporting sessions with your mini-rider.
Adjustment range, a detail that counts.
To ensure that our draisienne stays with your child for longer, we've extended the saddle adjustment range to 9.5 cm.
Height min. 34 cm / max. 41 cm.
The handlebars are also adjustable in height by 2 cm.
With or without tools?
We've also thought of parents. The seat height can be adjusted without tools thanks to the "Quick Release" system.
Tool kit for wheels and handlebar/post assembly included.
How to practice safely
Regulations prohibit the use of toys on public roads. The apprentice cyclist must therefore stay on the sidewalk.
And for his or her own safety, protective equipment (helmet and protectors) is highly recommended.
