Dimensions of 15kg rubber band
- The 15 kg elastic measures an empty length of 1.04 meters.
- It has a band width of 13 mm .
- It offers a resistance of 15 kg, i.e. a force of 15 kg must be applied to stretch the elastic to 200% of its size.
Always check your elastic band before a session
Always remember to check the attachment point of the elastic band to prevent it from unhooking during exercise (if you use it to assist you during pull-ups, for example).
If there are any cuts or white areas on the band, do not use the elastic band, as there may be a risk of it breaking during exercise.
Is a 15 kg rubber band the right choice for you?
The 15 kg rubber band is the perfect way to start strengthening your muscles. It allows you to perform all kinds of exercises with ease.
You can use it to take the weight off for certain exercises, but its moderate resistance won't lighten you up much. Choose a 35 kg instead.
Each band color is associated with a resistance:
Blue: 5 kg // Green: 15 kg // Yellow: 25 kg // Orange: 35 kg // Red: 45 kg // Black: 60 kg
What should I use my rubber band with?
A 15 kg elastic band can help you to move more easily from pull-ups on a bar (ref: 8385106) or a rack (ref: 8651534), lighten you up on the dips bar (ref: 8584544) or secure you when you start out with an abdominal wheel (ref: 8660093).
Remember that the help you get depends on its resistance: the greater the resistance, the easier the exercises.
How to store and use a rubber band
To preserve your elastic for a long time, store it in a room with a constant temperature (avoid the trunk of a car, which is very cold in winter and very hot in summer).
Avoid using it in a swimming pool: we do not test the resistance of our elastic to chlorine.
And always check that your anchoring point, if you hang the elastic on a support, is not abrasive or sharp.
